ELAND International, Delhi
Working in a Thailand
based multinational company. The company is engaged in international trading
and I am working as EA to Managing Director and Head Administration. Besides assisting the MD in day-to-day tasks,
the job involves heading global administration independently (about 200 employees in different time zones). I was also responsible
for company’s operations in India.
October 1999 to April 2004
VRS Foods Ltd., Delhi
Worked in a private milk processing plant having sizable presence in the NCR near
Delhi as Executive
Assistant to Managing Director. The company recently diversified into real
estate development, healthcare and BPO. Job responsibilities included analyzing
MIS reports, coordination with group heads with regards to execution of various tasks related to marketing, sales administration, plant maintenance and media management. During my tenure with the company, as a team,
we achieved some major targets like becoming most visible brand in NCR (PARAS Milk),
up gradation of plant from 2 LPD to 5 LPD (including PLC), completed first-ever consumer campaign of the company “Cheers to Cricket”. Besides day-to-day assistance to MD in various tasks like managing appointments, internal and external
communication and travel plans. I was also responsible for coordination with
plant and sales depots. I was responsible for sales of pouched milk in Ghaziabad (achieved a target of 45,000 LPD).
November 1996 to September 1999
A.L.C.C, Delhi
A Dubai based construction
company and I worked as Executive Assistant to Managing Director. Based in Delhi, I was independently responsible for companies operations in India. The job involved liaison with
government and judiciary with respect to real estate development, infrastructure development, hotel and resort management
including communication with foreign collaborators. Also responsible for administration,
local purchases, property management and screening of candidates from different states for company’s construction projects
in Gulf.
November 1992 to November 1996
LARGE, Delhi
I worked as PA to Project Director
for a UNDP assisted project for the Ministry of Finance. The project was christened as Project LARGE. LARGE is an acronym for Legal Adjustments and Reforms
for Globalization of Economy. The job responsibilities were general administration,
publishing policy papers written by leading economists of India and abroad, organizing seminars on all India basis, reading
and collection of relevant data from newspapers, magazines and law journals, maintenance of library (strength over 3,000 books),
local purchasing, travel arrangements and assistance to director in day-to-day jobs.
February 1988 to January 1992
Siemens, Dadri
I worked as Site Administrative Assistant
on a project executed by Siemens AG, Germany
for NTPC at Dadri. The job responsibilities were providing assistance in general
administration, local purchasing, technical record keeping, follow-up with client, maintenance of Housing Colony (50 units)
and transport management.
Before February 1988
I worked with several small companies like Gopal Enterprises, a company deals in
FMCG as Account Assistant. In fact, to support my studies, I started working
at a very young age. |
